STYLE OF BOUQUETS

POSY CLUSTER STYLE: 

A defined round shape, usually more formal in appearance and created with one flower on mass such as a rose. For a slightly less formal look, the use of 3 or more flowers. Has a definite edge that can be finished with small leaf foliage such as glossy camellia leaves. Fresh stem or fully wired, always finished with a ribbon wrap. Compliments A-line, long skirt dresses. Suits both bride & bridesmaid.

POSY LOOSE STYLE:

Less formal in appearance, has blend of flowers and foliages creating a less structured look. The overall shape doesn’t have to be perfectly round, the edge of this style is not defined by leaves. With its fresh stems exposed at the base with ribbon wrap around the hand held area, very much “just picked from the garden” feel. Works well for long skirt, straight & A-line style gowns. Versatile design for both bride & bridesmaid.

POM-POM STYLE:

A very round, ball shape that is full of flowers. Stunning for most style dresses and bride who loves her flowers to stand out that little bit more. Work well with summer hydrangea, roses, lisianthus. A smaller version of this or a posy cluster style works well as a complimentary bridesmaid option. 

TEARDROP:

A posy that comes down to form a teardrop shape at the base. Quite formal in appearance, with a defined edge of flower or foliage. Works beautifully with a more traditional style gown with a fuller skirt and train. A design that work well for brides with bridesmaids having a cluster posy to compliment.

SHOWERING/CASCADING:

A dramatic flow of trailing vines, flowers & foliages falling to form a narrow tip at the base from a more slender style posy at the top. Can be made with one flower type or a blend such as lily, roses and orchids for example. Usually fully wired or a blend of wired and fresh stems. This style looks gorgeous with a traditional full skirt gown and long train designed in proportion to the brides height and dress width. Usually just the bride would have this style.

ARM SHEAF:

A very versatile style, can be made sleek & minimal for the very contemporary with flowers such as calla lilies and steel grass, and transformed into a more romantic look with roses and foliages. Combinations are endless and can be placed over the arm or held in various other ways. Suits very sleek, straight gowns, well fitted and perfect choice for after 5 cocktail style wedding.  A good design for brides and bridesmaids.

WRISTLET:

A bracelet of flower that sits on the wrist. Making a huge comeback for bridesmaids especially for beach weddings. Flowers are wired together and additional embellishments can be added to suit the overall theme such as feathers, pearls, diamantes.

UNIQUE DESIGNER:

for the quirky, the artist, the girl who lets us go wild and present some different ideas for her flowers.

FLORAL BALL STYLE:

A full ball of flower tightly packed similar in style to a pomander, with a ribbon threaded through the middle for holding onto. Usually for flower girl or bridesmaids.

BASKET OF PETALS:

Basket size selected upon persons age, filled with petals in one colour or combination of colours.

WAND:

A simple trio of flowers, with stems bound together for a wand effect for that little princess to hold, finished with ribbon to compliment themes and colours. Work for the tiniest of ages with nothing the spill out.

BUTTONHOLES:

Made for the men, a simple flower & foliage mix to adorn the lapel of their jacket. Designed to compliment other flowers already selected, pin to attach provided.

CORSAGES:

Sweet and feminine made for shoulders or handbags, wired flowers and foliages, finished with soft ribbons.

HAIR PIECES:

Single stem flowers wired to be placed in to hair.

CIRCLET:

A small crown of flowers wired together to be placed onto the head of a wee flower girl. Can be made for a bride  that is going for a beach, barefeet, non traditional style.

AISLE:

Soften the dark timbers of church pews with soft ribbons and blooms, these can also be used on chairs for an outdoor wedding

All our vases are hired to you, as this is a very cost effective way and saves the hassle of all the vases left over after the big day.

TABLE CENTRE HAND-TIES

A hand tie bouquet is created and placed in a vase for the center of the table, these can be low or in tall cylinder style vases to create height and a canopy of flower for the room.
Great versatility as all styles from exotic to traditional can be used this way with a glass vase chosen for its suitability.

FISHBOWL ARRANGEMENTS

Flowers are placed inside the fishbowl, keeping it low at the tables and other additions such as candles can be added around the vase.
We have several sized fishbowls available.

TABLE RUNNER

Forget the fabric going down the center of the table, here we lay beautiful fresh lasting blooms amongst vines and tea-light candles all on top of individual green leaves, keeping in with colours of the overall wedding.

HURRICANE LAMPS

With or with out the use of flowers, a truly romantic glow spreading across your reception dinner candles are usually cream or ivory, however other colours can be requested.

CONTINUOS VASES

Using 7 of the same style vase across the table this style is perfect for long rectangular tables as it really works through a colour or type of flower. Many options are available in terms of flowers, colours and vases. Can also look fantastic with the addition of candles or tealights
